You are my Sunshine!

Ok, so it is Saturday.... afternoon. (had to look at my watch) Its almost 2pm.
Dad just got home from Hockey a few minutes ago, and said it was a nice day out.. this is how the conversation went:

Dad: You should be outside, it's really nice out!
Me: is it? (I was freezing in my room)
Dad: Yeah, you should go play with your friends
Me: What friends?
Dad: yeah, you should take your computer outside and..
Me :MY computer outside (i have a desktop..)
Dad: You should take my netbook outside and find some picture game to play with your friends.

haha, I'll just add in here that, i'm such a loser! haha most of my friends live outside the country! Robyn lives here, we hang out on Thursdays :)
haha dad knows that most of my friends live far away, so he suggested I go outside and play virtually with my friends haha.. ohh technology, I could actually do that, though I'm not. I'm blogging instead.

I was sitting up in my room watching the second half of Julia and Julie (or the other way around.. boh) just before Dad got home.
Mom had mentioned it being a good movie, and Amy last night said I should watch it, so I did.
Amy said she made some Bruschetta last night after watching it, cause she says everytime she watches that movie she just has to go bake/cook something afterwards. haha well, I watched it, and I just really felt like blogging! Funny. Anyone who hasn't seen this movie, should. It's not my favorite movie, but I enjoyed it, and I do actually feel excited right now to be blogging. Perhaps i missed the point of the movie?

I took some pictures with my phone ( I implemented some of dad's plan.. computer- check, pictures- check, friends-..... )

Me blogging,, you can even see my reflection. how nice.

blogging by the pool.. niiice! too bad the pool wasn't swim-in-able yet.

me blogging outside sans makeup, or a smile.. sun was too bright.

Well, i can't say i'm completely without friends right now
..

So, I just got up to go inside to ask dad a question for Alec... and .5 seconds later I come back to find my snack blown over!
LAME!

Anywway, it is really nice out.
It was a nice funeral yesterday, Everything went really well, as far as I know, and not including the musical number which was horribly done by MOI.

Everyone was excited to see Luke though, that was fun. Everyone is glad he's home.
annnnd I'm an idiot..
I made the Flag backwards.. UGH! the one SIMPLE thing I did, I did it wrong! seriously!

Anyway, I'm glad Luke is home too. He can help me with the "Preach My Gospel Crash Course" I (now, we) have to teach to the members here, under the direction of the elders. I think it's a great idea, but I'm glad I'll have help from Luke.

Preach my Gospel (or Predicare il mio Vangelo) ROCKS!! everyone needs one!

Ok, I think I'm done for now. Peace out all!

I ADORE the picture of the snack blown over. Too bad you don't have any cool friends living near you. Steve and I will have to move home.

First, I don't see how you can refer to yourself as a loser, etc. with all you have accomplished.

Second, certain altruistic tendencies aside, anyone who wouldn't want you for a friend is the loser. (And in most circles those altruistic tendencies actually tend to increase the number, though sadly not the value, of friendships.)

Third, you will have tons of proximate friends when you start college in the fall and get involved with some groups there as well as the YSA. I also think you should get into residence instead of an apartment.

Fourth, and most importantly, I used the diminutive appellative "little friends", suggestive of the relative value I place on casual acquaintances generally, and, as a corollary, why I have so many fewer "little friends" than you.
